Dear Mom

Space isn’t as bad as you made it out to be. It’s big sure but it’s not that scary. Aliens, now, aliens are scary, just yesterday the ship was taken over by purple blobs! Boy was that chaotic, the captain just lay down and cried. Oh yeah did I mention he has the mind of a 12 year old? What laughs, what laughs. Then the ships computer made like a banana and split. It wheeled right passed me muttering obscenities but couldn’t get into the safety unit as its wheel wouldn’t make it over the small lump of sealing rubber. I wouldn’t laugh though mom that would be dangerous. It was about then that the ships gunman leapt passed my ear and blew up the control panel, he’s a little funny, but hey mom, like you said, takes all sorts! Thankfully the day was saved by the mechanic, he just sat down with his, ahem, “magazine” and opened the airlock. The blobs went flying out into the black yonder! But don’t get the idea its bad here on The Big Ship, its lots of fun, every Friday is meatball Friday and every Thursday we have a game of tennis in the training room, but Guard #372 always wins, but he’s cheating, I happen to know he’s part android. How’re things at home mom? Did uncle Ben get his hip replaced? He loves his collection of alien hips doesn’t he, lets just hope he never gets caught or the law would be all over him!

Anyway, the captain is calling everyone to the brig someone stole his blanket and someone’s going to pay!
